When it comes to identifying the position of enemies in Apex Legends, there are two characters that do it better than anyone else.
We're obviously talking about Seer and Bloodhound, who both have abilities that are capable of pinpointing the exact location of a foe for their teammates. Often, the community struggles to figure out which one of these Recon Legends is better in the current meta.
Well, FURIA pro Jacob "HisWattson" McMillin has shared his opinion on the matter and, after creating a competitive tier list, appears to have provided a definitive answer.
HisWattson explains why Bloodhound is better than Seer
In HisWattson's opinion, Bloodhound is a significantly better scan Legend than Seer in the current meta, as they offer more to a squad than the Ambush Master.
Explaining that Seer's job in a gunfight is to "open the wound and scan," HisWattson believes Bloodhound's abilities simply do a better job at fulfilling these checkboxes.
The pro even went as far saying that he "will not play another Seer game until he is updated or Bloodhound is nerfed into the ground." It's worth noting that in his competitive tier list, he placed Bloodhound in A-tier and Seer in the C-tier.
Is Bloodhound or Seer more popular in Apex Legends?
According to Apex Legends status, Seer and Bloodhound are both extremely popular Legends at the moment and sit right next to each other in terms of pick rate.
With Bloodhound at 6.2% and Seer at 5.4%, the Technological Tracker is just ahead, but the Ambush Master has had a meteoric resurgence recently, so it's possible he will move past Bloodhound eventually.
Either way, the best choice for you will always come down to preference, but for Wattson, Bloodhound is the best option in Apex Legends.
