As far as Call of Duty game modes go, we've almost reached a point of completion.

Modern Warfare 3's additions such as Escort, Vortex, and War have complimented the core Hardpoint and party Gun Game, all of which have combined to make one of the best array of multiplayer variants that we've had in years.

There is one rather painstaking omission though: Prop Hunt.

Modern Warfare 3 fans have been importing for prop hunt to return on an almost weekly basis on Reddit and Twitter, but Sledgehammer Games has not adopted the party mode.

According to ForwardLeaks, via Twitter, the mode is set to return in the upcoming Black Ops 6 title, as "medals" for Prop Hunt have reportedly been found in the CoD HQ files.

Prop Hunt has been absent from CoD since Black Ops' latest game almost four years ago and still remains one of the more popular modes on the game now alongside Zombies.

The leaker, who correctly revealed that Rebirth Island was returning and has already revealed Black Ops 6 will have a major loadout change, also claimed that more party games have been found in the files.

Infected, Gun Game, and Gunfight all appear to be coming, as the logos have been found in the files.

Gunfight has been in a string of CoDs over the last five years, but players will also be hoping that the in-game client will also be able to hold Tournaments akin to those seen in Modern Warfare 2019.
