Epic Games has never been shy about putting external characters in Fortnite, and it's certainly not about to stop now. While the latest season has treated gaming fans to different iterations of the Lara Croft skin (amongst many other treats such as Batman and Harley Quinn), it seems that the game is going to be taking a step back in time to revisit the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Although this time, everyone's favourite baddie is set to step right off of the battle bus and into the Epic Games' brawler.

Recently, Epic released the v16.50 update, which is the final update for ‘Chapter 2 Season 6.', and with that came a whole host of new imagery and more importantly - loading screen additions.

Popular leakers HYPEX and ShiinaBR believe Loki will be soon making an appearance as either an LTM or a custom skin, as what appears to be the character's outline was 'teased' within the latest loading screen wallpaper. Don't believe us? Check it out for yourself:

WHEN WILL THE LOKI SKIN BE IN FORTNITE?

While there currently isn't a release date for Loki's arrival into the world of Fortnite, it just so happens that the new Loki Disney+ series lands on June 9, 2021, meaning that we could be seeing the crossover just in time for the release of the new series. After all, it's not like Epic has never brought out a limited-time mode or skin to coincide with a TV release before, right? *coughs* The Mandalorian *coughs*.

HOW TO GET LOKI SKIN IN FORTNITE

There's no information currently about how to obtain the Loki skin in Fortnite, but as and when that news does become available, check back here, and we'll let you know what is required to be able to get your hands on the latest Marvel/Fortnite crossover.

Will you be getting your hands on Loki when he arrives into the battle royale game?
