Tom Clancy fans have been champing at the bit to get their hands on the upcoming spin-off title to the tactical multiplayer mode, and a date has finally been set. Rainbow Six Extraction is coming next year...

The eagerly anticipated Rainbow Six title will see the Chimera parasite rip through the world, dooming the operators we've grown fond, and plaguing containment sites with hungry flesh-eating monsters. In a player versus evil setting, the title will pull away from the shoulder-peeking on Siege, unless you're too terrified to take on the virus with both eyes.

Rainbow Six Extraction Release Date

With some fans hoping for an early Christmas present to fill their stockings, Ubisoft has now revealed that the Rainbow Six Extraction release date is the early stages of the new year, specifically January 20.

Anticipating players can now also pre-order their copies, with the Standard Edition coming in at the price of £33.99, followed by the Deluxe Edition at £41.99.

Available on current-generation (Xbox One and PS4) and new-gen (Xbox Series X|S and PS5) consoles, Google Stadia, and PC through the Ubisoft Store, the game will finally release on January 20 with cross-play and cross-progression both activated.

Rainbow Six Extraction Pre-Order Editions

With the Rainbow Six Extraction release date set in stone for January 20, players can lock in their orders, which could make for a savvy way of getting a Christmas present out of the way, despite arriving a month later.

The Rainbow Six Extraction Standard Edition comes with an Operator progression system, 12 brand-new maps that span over three times the size of previous Rainbow Six Siege maps, over 60 weapons, legacy Siege tech, and free post-launch support including a weekly endgame challenge mode. Players who also have Siege will get a United Front bundle, also boasting four exclusive gearsets and instantly unlocking all of the 18 Extraction Operators in Siege.

The Rainbow Six ExtractionDeluxe Edition comes with all of the Standard Edition, plus undetailed three bonus packs.
