Building your own Rebel Workbench in LEGO Fortnite is super important if you want to experience everything the game's recent Star Wars collaboration has to offer.

Not only will it look fantastic in your themed base, but it also gives you the chance to pick up some exciting weapons that many of your favourite intergalactic characters have wielded - even if they might not be as powerful as the Lightsaber!

How to build a Rebel Workbench

The recipe for the Rebel Workbench can be acquired after obtaining the 'Plastoid' material. I managed to find mine after defeating a Stormtrooper, but you can also get it after some Building Parts are destroyed.

Once you've got the recipe you'll need five pieces of wood and six pieces of Plastoid in order to build it, so make sure that you've collected enough. Then, just place it in your base and it'll be good to go, giving you the opportunity to craft some exciting new weapons!

You'll be able to build the following weapons through the Rebel Workbench:

  • Bowcaster
  • DL-44 Blaster
  • E-11 Blaster
  • Thermal Detonator

If you're a Star Wars fan then you should definitely recognise most, if not all of the above weapons, as they're equipped by many of the series' iconic characters. The Bowcaste, for example, is donned by many Wookies, and the DL-44 Blaster is most commonly associated with a bounty hunter you might know by the name of Han Solo.

You can always pick these up through the item menu in Sandbox mode if the crafting process is a bit too cumbersome for you, but there's definitely satisfaction in earning these iconic items in-game.
