Street Fighter 6 has a whole cast of characters in its roster, and you're going to want to know every one of them if you're going to become a master fighter, even the DLC fighters in year one.
As the most recent entry in the iconic fighting game series, Street Fighter 6's roster throws together an assortment of old favourites and new legends into the gauntlet. With World Tour and Ranked Mode providing new ways to play, you're going to know which characters you can choose from.
Here, we'll be breaking down the game's full roster so far, including the DLC characters joining the fight in year one - so read on.

Street Fighter 6 roster
There are currently 18 characters in the Street Fighter 6 roster. Twelve of them are returning fighters from previous entries in the series, while six of them are brand-new.
The following list contains all the fighters currently playable in the game, and also denotes the new fighters:
- Blanka
- Cammy
- Chun-Li
- Dee Jay
- Dhalsim
- E. Honda
- Guile
- Jamie (New)
- JP (New)
- Juri
- Ken
- Kimberly (New)
- Lily (New)
- Luke
- Manon (New)
- Marisa (New)
- Ryu
- Zangief
On top of these characters being available to use during fights, they also appear in the World Tour mode as NPCs that you can interact with to learn moves.

Street Fighter 6 DLC fighters
Throughout 2023 and 2024, new fighters will also be added to the Street Fighter 6 roster as part of DLC, though players with the Deluxe or Ultimate editions of the game will earn these at no extra cost. These characters will also be incorporated into the World Tour mode.
Here's the full list of Street Fighter 6 DLC characters for year one, along with their release window:
- Rashid - July 24, 2023
- A.K.I - September 27, 2023
- Ed - Winter 2024 (Expect January or February)
- Akuma - Spring 2024
Rashid, the first character that is being released as DLC for Street Fighter 6, will be making his way into the game on July 24, 2023. As a master of winds, he is going to be a formidable opponent. He'll be going above and beyond to make sure he looks good on Stream, so watch out.
