15 Fall Guys skins we want to see, from Mario to Doomguy

With Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout continuing the climb the gaming charts, and having officially dethroned Fortnite as the most-streamed battle royale game, Mediatonic's adorable little title is one to watch out for.

There's something about Fall Guys' simple premise of squishy levels and even squishier beans that have made it a hit for players of all ages. Even though the game is only in its infancy, data miners have already dug deep and found a whole host of skins hiding in the code.

We've already seen Scout from Team Fortress 2 find a new home in Fall Guys, while Mediatonic has even chatted with CD Projekt Red about a potential crossover with The Witcher. There's a wide world of potential wardrobe choices out there, and with this in mind, here are 15 Fall Guys skins we need to see from the plains of pop culture and beyond.

Fall Guys Skins

Harry Potter

Hop on your broomsticks because it's off to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry with everyone's favourite lightning-scarred orphan. As the Harry Potter franchise continues to grow in terms of movies and video games, seeing Harry's signature look in Fall Guys would add a sense of "magic" to proceedings. Why stop there? Pop in Ron, Hermione, Hagrid, and even a pint-sized Dobby.

Spyro

Sticking with dragons, Spyro could spread his wings and take flight in Fall Guys - not literally, that would be cheating. It's hard to believe Spyro the Dragon's first game out in 1998 to become a big part of many people's childhoods. As well as branching out into Skylanders, our love of Spyro started smouldering all over again thanks to the Spyro Reignited Trilogy. You can already picture his little purple body happily bouncing across Fall Guys' levels.

Breaking Bad

Vince Gilligan's gritty drama may have been off our screens for over seven years, but that doesn't mean Breaking Bad is any less popular. Fall Guys can homage to Bryan Cranston's legendary turn as Walter White with a family-friendly Heisenberg homage. Instead of featuring Walt's signature pork pie hat and glasses, Mediatonic could also introduce those yellow hazmat suits as a nod to COVID-19.

Fall Guys Skins

Link

Adult Link has been a mainstay of the Smash Bros. roster, but let's be honest, the more serious (and muscular) version is nowhere near as much fun as his junior counterpart from Ocarina of Time. The Legend of Zelda is one of the biggest franchises Nintendo has to offer, while Link is its most marketable character - as long as fans know his name isn't actually Zelda. The Zelda games are always chart-topping successes and it's about time they get the recognition they deserve. Also, let's not stop at Link. We demand a Majora's Mask skin too!

The Simpsons

Putting the "spring" in Springfield, America's longest-running sitcom is still a cultural phenomenon three decades after we first met that dysfunctional family. The Simpsons need no introduction and already have their own unique outfits that would make them instantly recognisable in Fall Guys. Picture the scene of Marge Simpson's blue bouffant bobbing in the distance as you all race for the crown.

Sonic the Hedgehog

A gaming icon who could "spin" into action is Sonic the Hedgehog. The SEGA mascot has been on the scene since 1991 and has taken us all the way from the Green Hill Zone to Hollywood. The recent success of Sonic the Hedgehog proves we still love him. Let's not forget Sonic is no stranger to crossovers and has popped up in several Smash Bros. games, Lego Dimensions, and Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games.

Fall Guys Skins

Star Wars

Merging Fall Guys with that galaxy far, far away could be another lucrative move for Mediatonic. From Darth Vader to Leia, Yoda to Chewie, there are so many infamous outfits from Star Wars that could swing a lightsaber through proceedings. Just like we've seen Fortnite tie big franchises including Aquaman into its story, a Star Wars crossover would be massive. Even though there aren't any new movies coming out soon, a Star Wars partnership is just too tempting to pass up on.

Metal Gear Solid

A "solid" investment would be the introduction of Metal Gear Solid skins into Fall Guys. While we continue to wait (and wait) for a live-action movie adaptation, Metal Gear Solid could find a new fanbase in Fall Guys. Inflatable arenas are a million miles away from the dystopian horrors of the main Metal Gear series, but that doesn't mean it wouldn't work. Better yet, Konami has already designed its own Metal Gear Solid skins that we're totally living for. Bean Solid Snake and Bean Big Boss need to happen.

Loot Llama

Despite Fall Guys and Fortnite moving in completely different circles, that hasn't stopped a lot of comparisons being made between the pair. Epic Games' traditional battle royale shooter has continued to dominate charts, but that hasn't stopped Fall Guys from snapping at its heels. Showing how both parties can work together, the infamous Loot Llama would be a colourful skin in keeping with the rest of the Fall Guys aesthetic. Considering Fall Guys isn't available on iOS, it should be fine for a Fortnite crossover *insert shade noise here*.

Fall Guys Skins

Doomguy

Another fan-favourite gaming franchise that would instantly pop against the backdrop of Fall Guys is Doom. As THE definitive first-person shooter, modern games owe a lot to Doom. Even though Bethesda's series is still going strong thanks to the release of Doom Eternal, Doomguy would be another pop culture favourite who could make his mark on Fall Guys. We might not be able to see him slash his way through beans like they're hideous demons from Mars, but oh well, you can't win 'em all.

The Sims

Get ready to talk gibberish with EA's The Sims. Just like the rest of these video game giants, The Sims would be instantly recognisable in Fall Guys. Stick a Plumbob (yep, that's the name of the green diamond) above your beans' head and run for the crown. Ironically, sending a Sim-themed bean tumbling off the edge of a course is probably less sadistic than taking the steps away from the pool and watching them swim themselves to death.

Pikachu

If you wanna catch 'em all, Pokemon and Fall Guys is the crossover that needs to happen. There may be hundreds of those little pocket monsters, but for now, it just wouldn't be a Pokemon collab without Pikachu waddling his way into Fall Guys. The happy mascot of the Pokemon Company could definitely electrify proceedings. Just like Pikachu became some people's go-to in Super Smash Bros., it's easy to see how he'd fit into Fall Guys.

Fall Guys Skins

The Avengers

Earth's Mightiest Heroes in Fall Guys? Shut up and take my money. It's no coincidence Avengers: Endgame is the highest-grossing movie of all time when you consider the popularity of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Better yet, legendary Avengers like Captain America, Hulk, Iron Man, and Thor all have their costumes to make them stand out against the rest of the bean wardrobe choices. Also, what Avengers crossover would be complete without Thanos himself? Watch him bring the Infinity Gauntlet to Fall Guys and "snap" the competition. Hey, if it's good enough for Fortnite, it should be good enough for Mediatonic.

Apex Legends

Another esports favourite that is dominating the scene is Apex Legends. Respawn's battle royale behemoth has been going from strength to strength since its release in 2019. Even though Season 6 has officially landed, we're already looking to the future. When it comes to Fall Guys, the villainous Caustic would be easy to bring to life as a bean thanks to his gas mask ensemble. Bloodhound and Pathfinder would be popular among fans, or you could add the newly introduced Rampart.

Mario

And finally, what video game crossover wouldn't love to have the main man himself? Mario has a video game legacy that spans back decades and has rightly earned the portly plumber a place in all our hearts. Whether it's heading off to rescue Princess Peach from Bowser, having a game of tennis, or tearing up the stage of Smash Bros., Mario has literally done it all. With his red overalls and cap, this is one skin that simply has to come to Fall Guys. Just think, there could be a closet of Mario favourites where Toad, Peach, Luigi, Yoshi, and all the rest find a new place to call home.

Of course, all of the above Fall Guys skins are just (warp) pipe dreams for now. With Mediatonic slowly feeding us its grand plans for the future of Fall Guys, rest assured that a prickly cactus won't be the only new addition to the plethora of skins on offer. We can't wait to see all your Fall Guys catwalk shows.
