A new hairstyle has come to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet and players have been savagely mocking it online.

The hairstyle, which shows shaved sides in the shape of a pokeball, definitely screams Pokemon fan, but it looks very unusual next to the school uniforms the characters wear.

Player’s are mocking a new hairstyle in Scarlet and Violet

In a recent tweet, user Touyarokii shared a picture of the Poke Ball fade, one of the newest hairstyles to be added to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

Stating that the haircut makes the player look like “an obnoxious pokemon fan,” Touyarokii’s tweet gave other player’s an excuse to share their own thoughts on the hairstyle.

Some player’s expressed that they were unhappy because only bad or cringy hairstyles seemed to make their way into the game.

One Twitter user said: “Honestly every time they have added new hairstyles it has really upset me. They don't add anything that stands out or looks like it's even remotely pokemon-styled; they just add ugly ones hardly anyone uses.”

Another added: “Why can’t they add any good ones? How about some good long styles? It’s all super weird and random.”

Some users seem to like the style however, saying that they were tempted to get the Poke ball cut themselves.

“Ngl I might have to get this next time I get my haircut,” one user said.

Another user said they were “about to get this in real life.”

Even though some people seem to like the new cut, a vast majority of people are hoping that some nicely styled long hairstyles could be added in the future.

The limited number of long hairstyles has bothered a lot of people, and the addition of more quirky hairstyles doesn't help ease the blow.

Hopefully, more hairstyles will come out after the release of the Indigo Disc DLC.
