There's no denying that the Warzone servers are unstable. The Call of Duty developers have even admitted that their servers sucked. Players have been lagging out of games left, right, and centre in recent weeks, leaving Warzone fans extremely frustrated and looking towards new games.

But, the Call of Duty team might just have found a solution to their most damning problem, as a "Rejoin Game" feature is 100% on its way. Those frustrations of dropping out of winning on Al Mazrah due to server issues could be a thing of the past.

Warzone 2 players find leaked 'Rejoin Game' feature

So far, if a player lags out of a Warzone 2 match, their time on the map is done for. There's no Gulag second chance, you simply leave your squadmates handicapped and are forced to wait in the lobby until they are sent packing by an overbearing full squad.

But with Warzone Ranked on the way in Season 3 Reloaded, and suspensions put in place for players who leave, the developers have now leaked a Rejoin Game feature that will appear when players lag out. This should allow them to get back into the action from where they were booted from.

The feature was leaked through the World Series of Warzone custom lobbies, which were updated with official competitive (and Ranked) rules. Even though it was not meant to be included, players found the message popping up as the custom lobbies all crashed due to AI malfunctions.

Warzone 2 developers confirm that the Rejoin Game feature is coming soon

The leaked feature didn't work for the WSOW custom lobbies, given that its implementation into Warzone was a mistake from the developers, but Raven Software has now confirmed that the Rejoin Game button will be added soon.

Raven Software took to Twitter to confirm that the feature is something "we'll be ready to show off at a later date," presumably holding it back to when Ranked launches on May 10.

It's not yet known whether the feature will apply to both Ranked and casual games, but at least it's a huge step towards combatting the lag issues in Warzone, and players will undoubtedly be extremely happy.
