Terraria, despite having called time on updating the game with new content, is still immensely popular.

It's no surprise, to be honest - the game stripped out just enough of the Minecraft formula to be a building sandbox of its time, but was individual enough in its cave-building, boss battles and exciting items to set itself apart.

Its creativity is only matched by its players, making some gorgeous builds and exploring the worlds of Terraria without fear in search of the best armour and weapons on offer.

And now, it looks like our Terraria builds could be coming to the real world.

Terraria Lego Set Is In Review

A Terraria Lego Set Could Be On Its Way

It looks as though a long-hoped Terraria Lego set could be on the way, as a set proposed and designed by a fan has entered a new stage of review on the Lego Ideas website.

The model, simply titled "Terraria", has now officially surpassed 10,000 supporters of users who claimed that they'd be interested in the set, and it is now being reviewed by experts at the Lego team to see if it will be put into production.

The set is (naturally) a side-on profile of a house, with an accompanying pond and cave descending into the depths, with heaps of treasures and Life Crystals to mine.

The set is a pretty accurate representation of how homes in Terraria would look, and it's nice to see that the game could be making it to real life in Lego form, much like Minecraft has before it. Especially as the game is still enjoying huge success.

Terraria Is Still Breaking Steam Records

Even though the game first saw its release back in 2011, Terraria has recently become the only game on Steam to maintain its "overwhelmingly positive" rating after having one million reviews on the platform.

The game is maintaining a rating of 97% on Steam, making it one of the platform's highest performers, and given that it has bagged a million reviews, it's probably up there with its bestsellers too.

It's a deserving game for the title - and now we might be getting the chance to bring the game home in a tangible form. We'll be waiting with bated breath for its launch - if it ever materialises.
