Kaitlyn "Amouranth" Siragusa has thrown shade at YouTuber Daniel "Keemstar" Keem after she came under fire for making a controversial April Fools' pregnancy joke.
Twitch streamer Amouranth has made her name as of the trailblazers in the streaming community, fighting back against her haters and continuing to rise up the charts, eventually becoming Twitch's most popular female streamer in 2021. While fans have always praised Amouranth for always clapping back at sexist trolls who have belittled her career, she has landed herself in hot water at times. For example, she raised eyebrows after she agreed with Kim Kardashian's controversial "get your f*****g a*s up and work" comments and when she bought $2 million worth of Activision Blizzard stock.
Then on April Fools' Day, Amouranth found herself under fire again for apparently making a joke about being pregnant. Following on from fans calling on Keemstar to share his thoughts about the drama, Amouranth clapped back at the YouTuber.
Amouranth Criticised For Pregnancy April Fools' Day 'Joke'
During her livestream on April Fools' Day, Amouranth came under fire from fans after supposedly captioning her upload 'I'm Pregnant'. Amouranth has not made any further reference to her 'pregnancy' on her social media pages as of writing, leaving many fans to conclude it was an April Fools joke. However, as reported by Win.gg, it wasn't long before the 28-year-old found herself under fire from users.
While some insisted that the comment was just 'a joke', others called it out for being 'inappropriate' as it touched upon the sensitive subject matter of women struggling with fertility problems. As Twitter user "vFightMacFight" stated: "Nice to see Amouranth putting she's pregnant in her twitch title on this day. Wonder if it's legit or just a stupid infantile and moronic April Fools 'joke' about a subject matter many women deal with."
Amouranth Takes Swipe At Keemstar
Following on from the April Fools' Day backlash, Amouranth threw shade at YouTuber Keemstar after vFightMacFight tagged the DramaAlert host in their tweet, calling on him to comment. Amouranth responded: "Imagine an alternate universe where instead of Batman we have Keemstar. Whenever some injustice (inconsequential drama) goes unanswered the citizens of Twitter shine a bright DramaAlert logo adorned search light into the night."
Criticising Keemstar's streamer-fuelled DramaAlert content, Amouranth continued: "Thusly summoned Keemstar uselessly makes a video about the subject and throws loaves of bread at denizens of Gotham. Satiated by the superficial appeasements of bread and circuses everyone goes back to their dreary lives until the next video. Because he's the hero that misogynists and losers deserve, but not the one it needs ever."
Keemstar hasn't responded to Amouranth's comments, as of writing. However, it probably won't be long until we see a new DramaAlert upload about the drama very soon, no searchlight signal needed.
