As part of the original Apex Legends roster, Lifeline is one of the most iconic characters in the Outlands and is immensely popular. The Combat Medic is the ultimate Support Legend, and while her classic kit is still effective, it's become slightly outdated.

As a result, fans have been clamouring for a mini-rework to her kit for multiple seasons, and it appears that Respawn has been listening. A new leak has potentially revealed all of Lifeline's upcoming abilities, and if they're correct, the overhaul will take her to the next level.

Lifeline's leaked rework transforms her kit in Apex Legends

As showcased by reliable leaker KralRindo, Lifeline is expected to receive a full rework of her kit in an upcoming season.

For starters, she'll keep her Combat Revive Passive, but she'll also be able to glide in the air for three seconds by holding onto her D.O.C drone. This time can be extended by 1.5 seconds through Perks.

In terms of the Tactical, the current healing drone will remain the same, but it will also be able to follow her and her teammates, and she'll be able to command D.O.C to move.

If that wasn't enough, Kral reports that D.O.C will also have physics, just like Season 3, which will be an exciting detail for Apex OGs.

The Ultimate is where the major changes come into play, with the devs completely scrapping her iconic Care Package and replacing it with the Shockbot 3000.

This destructible bot forcefully ejects enemies from the nearby area, clearing space for Lifeline until it's destroyed. Until we see this in-game, it's hard to know how powerful it will be, but at a glance, it seems quite situational.

Remember, all these leaks should be taken with a pinch of salt, as Respawn could change the design at any time. However, on the surface, this looks like an exciting overhaul that builds on Lifeline's already strong kit.
