Call of Duty Zombies doesn't always promise frights that will scare the bejeezus out of us, but there have been multiple creepy crawlers that have enough gore to send shivers down your spine.

From Nova 6 Crawlers to the Doctor in Five, the creeps are rather unrelenting. Now, Black Ops 6 has some of its own up its sleeve - or rather, down its eight legs. Spiders. Ron Weasley's worst nightmare.

Spider Zombies reportedly coming to Black Ops 6

Black Ops 6 Zombies has been slated to be one of the scariest yet, and some new leaks suggest that the rumours might just be true. Weaving a wicked web of intrigue, spider zombies are supposedly on the way.

New teasers on the TheTruthDies website indicate that some beady-eyed, eight-legged crawlers will be scuttling around the map - although maybe not eight-legged, knowing how some of these critters will be able to run without a full roster of toes.

The Black Ops 6 Zombies spiders are reportedly going to spawn from the brains of re-killed Zombies, exploding out of their heads.

Spiders are far from gamers' friends, so much so that developers have been forced to make arachnophobia modes to disguise them. In Hogwarts Legacy, the spiders are turned into boggarts with roller skates on their legs.

Other games like XDefiant have been put under the microscope for arachnid protection, with the Spiderbot proving to be equally as terrifying as it is powerful.

Given the actually walking-groaning flesh-starved beasts that literally want to rip your face off, Black Ops 6 Zombies is usually pretty spooky enough. But with spiders scuttling around your feet, we hope there's a pretty big blast from the Ray Gun this year.
