For many players, Shi No Numa is a Zombies map serving as a blast from the past, having featured in World at War as one of the successors to Nacht Der Untoten.

But its influence in the Zombies community and story is not to be understated, having birthed randomly-spawning Perk-a-Colas and being the map on which speedrunners can grind their absolute backsides off in a bid to reach unfathomable rounds.

Now, one player has smashed the record for the highest round ever achieved in Call of Duty Zombies, as "UniiQuee" has showcased getting to Round 11,843.

One Call of Duty player reaches the highest Zombies round ever

Yes, Round 11,843. Which is inconceivable to those who might remember setting personal records on Kino Der Toten and Der Riese at 40.

Shi No Numa though has a gruelling grind where the Wunderwaffe comes in clutch and can surpass through thousands of rounds before resetting completely at a certain time mark.

In the 105 hours before Shi No Numa's clock runs out, UniiQuee has taken to Twitter to show that he smashed the previous record and has managed to get the highest round ever achieved.

With the help of the pause function to provide gaps for sleep and food, the Shi No Numa match took four and a half days of in-game time to finish, spread across 12 days in real life, beating the previous record by a single round.

Zombies speedrunners are smashing records on World at War

Uniiquee isn't the only Zombies guru to set records in recent times either, as the former highest-round record holder "Cruppz" beat all World at War maps (Nacht Der Untoten, Verruckt, Shi No Numa, and Der Riese) in record time, taking a combined total of 341 hours.

These types of records are only possible on World at War given that they have a difficulty limit and will continue on until there are too many assets to load and the game will crash and reset, usually on the same hour mark each time.

Still, these accomplishments put the grind into perspective when a solid Kino Der Toten run would take a lifetime (4 hours) to complete.
