Assetto Corsa Evo

It's not necessarily a rule that is often relayed in cars, no matter how reliant, but three is usually the charm, and Assetto Corsa is trying to prove that.

After a successful first edition arriving in 2014, and becoming a two-wheel drive series in 2019, the trilogy title for Assetto Corsa is now on the way.

Stacking realism and leaning into the modding universe, Assetto Corsa EVO is charging at us in fifth gear and turning the final bend before its checkered flag launch in 2025.

Assetto Corsa EVO launches in 2025 with Early Access build

Boasting cars of all generations like a tale of time and beauty, Assetto Corsa EVO is the third title in the sim-racing series that strips away the arcade quirks and focuses all-in on realistic drives no matter how much horsepower you're sat behind.

505 Games has today revealed that Assetto Corsa EVO will be released on Steam on January 16 in an Early Access build.

Marco Massarutto, KUNOS Simulazioni co-founder said, "We’ve been working hard to make sure everything meets our high standards.

"Our goal is to ensure the quality that all sim racing enthusiasts rightfully expect from a title like Assetto Corsa EVO. We would like to express our sincere gratitude for the continuous and extraordinary support received from our community. We look  forward to sharing more exciting news on the project soon!

Whether you're a supercar enthusiast or don't know your torque from your throttle, whether you prefer the smoothness of modern-day aerodynamic bodies or some good old American muscle, whether you're a day-time cruiser or come alive when the lights dip at night, Assetto Corsa EVO aims to hit the mark with its brand-new features.

The trilogy will support a full 24-hour race cycle, with cutting-edge lighting, dynamic weather, and varying track conditions all to add something different on each drive.

There's no update as to when the title will land on consoles, but given that the sequel Competizione has a 13-month disparity between its PC launch and that of Consoles (last gen, current-gen came three years down the line), its likely that the Xbox and PlayStation builds will follow later in 2025 or in early 2026 after collecting the data from Steam's Early Access run.
