Rumours of a Banjo-Kazooie revival have ramped up as a known insider stated that a new game has been greenlit.

Rumours of a Banjo-Kazooie revival have ramped up as a known insider stated that a new game has been greenlit.
After Phil Spencer, CEO of Microsoft Gaming, has previously alluded to a new Banjo-Kazooie title, fans are hopeful that a new game could be on its way.
An insider has said a new Banjo-Kazooie game has been greenlit
Insider Nate Drake has stated that a new Banjo-Kazooie game was greenlit early last year.
In response to someone asking about a new Banjo game, he wrote: “It's still an active project, but it didn't get the green light until early last year. There is a lot to do and development can change a lot (abandoned ideas, internal reboots, etc.)”
Rumours of a new Banjo-Kazooie game have been circulating for a while, and were furthered by Phil Spencer stating that the company knew that fans of the franchise were eager for a new game to be released.
Fans are hopeful that the revival rumours are true
Fans of the Banjo-Kazooie franchise have high hopes that the leaked game will turn out to be real, though some have stated that they are wary of believing the rumours after being let down in the past.
One fan pleaded: “Please please be real.”
Another asked: “Is this what it felt like when all those GTA leaks were happening? To where I like, don't want to believe it because I don't want my soul to be crushed. But I'm still really hopeful?”
Some fans are hesitant to get their hopes up.
“Idk I have been hearing this for too many years. I need to see it to believe it,” one said.
Another said: “I want to believe this but Resetera is usually ass so I'm just going to assume fake.”
A third wary fan wrote: “I will be deeply, deeply, deeply upset if this turns out to be fake.”
Whether or not the rumour ends up being true, it is clear that the people want a new Banjo-Kazooie title.
We can only hope that one will be confirmed in the near future.
