China is ahead of the game as Bilibili has secured the rights to create a mobile version of Fall Guys: Ultimate Knockout. Since its release on August 4 on PlayStation 4 and PC, Fall Guys has taken the gaming world by storm. This cute and cuddly battle royale title has shifted well over 8 million copies and even dethroned League of Legends as the most-streamed game on Twitch. Despite it's limited number of platforms, Fall Guys has amassed a huge following.

With fans calling for ports to everything from Xbox to Switch, it looks like Fall Guys Mobile is the next big step for Mediatonic. There's one small problem though, you'll have to move to China to play it. Games analyst Daniel Ahmad posted on Twitter and revealed that the Chinese entertainment company will publish a mobile version of Fall Guys.

The official Bilibili site also confirmed the news and explained how it will be an "exclusive agent" for Fall Guys Mobile in China. There, it is called Jelly Bean: Ultimate Knockout as a nod to the game's adorable beans. Bill Croft - co-founder of Fall Guys developer Mediatonic - said, "We can confirm Bilibili have secured publishing rights to a mobile version in China As you can imagine, we’ve had a lot of questions about platforms since launch, and of course we’d love to release on more platforms in the future but for now we’re focusing our efforts on PC and PS4".

It's important to remember this is the only official Fall Guys Mobile there is. Mediatonic had to recently send out a tweet to warn fans of a scam that was tricking unknowing players into thinking there was a mobile version. Now that Bilibili is working on an actual one, the big question is when/if it will make its way over here.

The idea of Fall Guys Mobile makes perfect sense when you look at how it's designed. The simplistic controls and design look like it's been created for smartphones, meaning the transition should be pretty easy. With the mobile scam still being a big problem, it will be a challenge to differentiate between the actual mobile version and the fakes.

When pushed on Fall Guys spreading its wild oats elsewhere, Mediatonic previously said it would "love to bring the game to other platforms further down the line". For now though, you'll need a PC or PS4 to bounce around those colourful courses and dash for the crown.
