Juggernaut is one of the most powerful killstreaks in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, giving players the ability to climb inside a fortified armour suit equipped with a devastating minigun.

As a result, it requires Operators to rack up 15 kills or score 1875 points total to get their hands on a Juggernaut suit inside a match.

Unfortunately, those using this killstreak have been running into a glitch that allows enemies to kill them almost instantly, rendering the suit completely useless.

Despite this, it appears the community has finally figured out what's triggering the bug to occur.

Juggernaut bug makes killstreak useless in MW2

Bro, how is that even possible? I was in a full health juggernaut…

Taking to the ModernWarfareII subreddit, user EliteTanker decided to showcase a Juggernaut bug that effectively makes the killstreak worthless in a match.

In the clip, EliteTanker calls down the armour and immediately jumps inside the suit to start causing havoc in their game. However, seconds after using Juggernaut, they ran into an enemy with an MP7 who took them down almost instantly with only a few rounds.

The glitch didn't affect the Juggernaut's damage output, but it did cancel out the extra armour the suit usually provides.

What causes the broken Juggernaut bug in MW2?

After analysing the clip, users in the thread realised that it seems the Battle Rage Field Upgrade is triggering the bug.

Apparently, if you have Battle Rage activated when entering a Juggernaut suit, you'll keep your standard health value instead of it being upgraded by the killstreak. This means players can still kill you instantly with a few well-placed shots.

So, if you're a fan of Juggernaut in MW2, it's definitely worth avoiding Battle Rage until a fix is rolled out by the devs to solve the issue.
