Black Ops Cold War brought forth some of the most brutal undead enemies that we've ever had. Margwas, Marauders, Blightfathers, Hellhounds, Nova Crawlers, and Manglers means the combined undead forces were lethal. Still, it made for some of the best Call of Duty Zombies rounds we've ever had.
Now, Black Ops 6 is here and bringing even more horrendous creatures that want to bite your face off. So, why not give them a taste of their own medicine by using enemy technology to become their final boss?
Black Ops 6 Zombies Mutations turn you into a Mangler
Returning from Cold War is the Support Equipment (Crafting Table) feature, which means you'll be able to build your own killstreaks and perks like Self-Revive and an ARC-XD (an RC car with an aetherial explosion).
But in 2024, Black Ops 6 is upping the ante and introducing Mutant Injections to the Crafting Table. As you can imagine, this comes with catastrophic news for the zombies...
The Mutations will allow you to (temporarily) transform yourself into a Mangler as you get the Mech Giant's full set of "bells and whistles."
From its armour to its weaponry, the Mangler suit will have everything that this boss-type Zombie has to offer. At its disposal, the Mangler's arsenal includes a massive plasma cannon that's capable of beaming full trains of Zombies in one go, as well as a melee claw that rips through hordes with ease. Y
Better yet, you'll have near-invincible health due to its metal plates. Early footage also suggests that Zombies will be more attracted to the Mutant Mangler than the rest of the squad, almost like a Monkey Bomb, giving relief to nearby allies.
This is the first time players have actively been able to turn into Zombies outside of Grief, and once you get used to being a part of the undead army, there's no going back.
