Black Ops 6 Zombies set to continue one hated trend

Treyarch is reportedly allowing loadouts in Black Ops 6 Zombies, and with it being a hated part of Black Ops Cold War, angry players aren't happy.

Ever since the undead rose from out of the ground at Nacht der Untoten, players have been fending them off with an M1911 in their hands, or another pistol of choice. Black Ops 6 originally looked to be paying homage to this, bringing back the Mustang and Sally from Black Ops 1 as a blueprint.

Given this gun is the most renowned Zombie slayer of all time (behind the Ray Gun), it was a big win. Sadly, that doesn't seem to be the case, as leaks are claiming that Zombies will be scrapping the staring pistol in favour of loadouts.

Black ops 6 Zombies to feature weapon loadouts

Black Ops Cold War started this trend, as the pistol that you usually open with was forgotten in favour of players having their loadout weapons of choice from the start. This was a move which was designed to give players more chance to grind camos with different guns.

Black Ops 6 leaks claim loadouts from Round One will continue, leaving hopes of scaling through the wall weapons rather redundant.

The entire loadout system hasn't been revealed for Zombies yet, as it could have a DMZ-style extraction gunsmith that gives you the Ray Gun blueprint, or it could be more mainstream and replicable of multiplayer.

Zombies fans brand loadouts as an "L"

After being branded as an "L" by Zombies guru "TheGamingRevolution", hundreds of fans took to social media with their complaints against loadouts. "It's merely a levelling simulator for Warzone, yet again," said content creator "ProReborn".

"Ngl as much fun Cold War was I will admit it ruined the original experience of cod zombies," another fan added. You can still start with a pistol, should you choose to have your loadout set up in that manner, but the scale-ability of having to save credits for wall weapons and the power machine will suffer.
