In the wake of the Xbox deal with Activision Blizzard, there's a lot of confusion when it comes to the future of many games.

Fans have worried that many games under the banner of Activision Blizzard would suffer from a slowed development - but it doesn't look like this is the case. The long-awaited next step in the much-adored Diablo series has finally offered a new peek at its gameplay, and fans are unbelievably excited.

Diablo 4 Reveals New Dungeons And Gameplay

Blizzard has shared a brand new look at Diablo 4 in a new quarterly update, sharing some updates on the development of some of its dungeons. And, it's coming with a new feature that could improve dungeon randomization tenfold.

"Dungeons are still that randomized content that you know and love from previous titles," says art director, Brian Fletcher, in the new blog post. "However, we added new and exciting features that allow us to make even more dungeons access the world of Sanctuary than ever before. In order to support over 150+ dungeons, we've had to shift the way we make environment art so that it's flexible enough to be used in multiple locations and not just in a single dungeon. We break it all down into what we call tile-sets."

Diablo Shares Looks At Multiple Dungeons

Not only has Blizzard shared details on how their new dungeons in Diablo 4 will work, but they've also included videos that actually give players a look at gameplay in some of the new areas of the game.

The Scosglen Coast, the Orbei Monastery, Kyovashad and mysterious "Forgotten Places" are shared in videos on the blog post, that take players on a short tour of the dingy locales ready for you to slash your way through.

This is an encouraging new peek at the game, and excitement is running high for the eventual launch. Diablo fans, get excited - this one's going to be special.
