Call of Duty appears to be implementing a daily login rewards system that will offer players customisation items for simply loading up Modern Warfare 2.

At the moment, the Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone grind is a little bit tedious. Eight months into the lifetime of both games, the hype has settled completely and players are looking toward other havens to get their Call of Duty itch.
With CoD fans looking towards old-school Black Ops games to get their fix of shooting and looting, Modern Warfare 2's player base has dropped significantly in recent weeks. But in a bid to keep MW2 populated, Activision is now apparently pulling out all of the stops to keep you logging in every day.
Modern Warfare 2 leaks suggest daily login rewards are coming
According to the Twitter leaks page "Task Force Leaks," Login Rewards are being added to MW2 (and presumably Warzone too). It would definitely be a way to get you back into the games - not that their player bases really need much support.
The page claimed to have a screenshot of said rewards, which will accrue with every day a player logs on, with a total of seven consecutive reward increments. The rewards will get increasingly better every day, until you earn a free blueprint on day seven.
Things will presumably reset and you'll continue the cycle to climb the ranks and get that sweet blueprint at the end. To be honest, we're surprised it's taken this long for Activision to implement daily rewards because it sounds like a great idea.
MW2 Leaked Daily Login Rewards
The leak page suggests that the rewards will vary from loading screens right up to M4 blueprints, at least on its first iteration.
- Day 1 - Loading Screen
- Day 2 - Vehicle Skin
- Day 3 - Consumable (Double XP Token)
- Day 4 - Calling Card
- Day 5 - Consumable (Double Weapon XP Token)
- Day 6 - Emblem
- Day 7 - M4 Weapon Blueprint
It's likely that these daily rewards will then change again once they have been completed. So far, there appears to be no indication of when this new rewards system will be added, but it's likely that they will come at some point in Modern Warfare 2's timeline.
As things wind down, we could see Call of Duty daily rewards being welcomed into the game through Season 5. Then again, these leaks have sometimes been a little off, so we'll have to wait and see whether this all works out as planned.
