Call of Duty fans have called out a 'bullsh*t' Modern Warfare 3 pre-order bonus, with the Captain Price "Skirmisher" skin coming to Call of Duty: Mobile.

Is there any crowd that bays for blood more than the Call of Duty crowd? There's no denying the success of the CoDverse, and 20 years after we first jumped into the trenches of World War II with Infinity Ward, the series has evolved into a completely different beast.
Unfortunately, the success of CoD and the fact we've got mainline games running alongside Warzone and Mobile means there's a bigger crowd of angry gamers, ready to be fuming at the slightest inconvenience. With Modern Warfare 3 just around the corner, the hype train is overshadowed by the usual grumbles.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 pre-order bonus slammed as 'bullsh*t'
While we'll take something free when we can, that hasn't stopped you from bemoaning the latest Modern Warfare 3 pre-order bonus. Anyone who pre-orders a digital copy of the game will be gifted the Captain Price "Skirmisher" Skin. Although that might sound great, you won't be able to use him in MW3.
The Skirmisher Skin will be free to download in Call of Duty: Mobile. You need to create or link your Activision account to CoD: Mobile and log in before November 15. After this, the Skirmisher Skin should be added to your account from November 30.
With the Skirmisher Skin being a Mobile-only gift, you can imagine that the community soon turned on the announcement. One grumbled, "Such a fine skin for our very fine Captain and it's for mobile only??? Really hope we get it on console/pc too," while another added, "Bullsh*t"
A third said, "Sorry gonna have to pass on that I will wait to see how many of the good decisions made in the beta get reverted for the full release before I buy this game," and a fourth simply concluded, "Use me as dislike button."
What Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 pre-order bonuses are there?
It's not just Mobile pre-order bonuses trying to get you to part with your cash early, as there are a slew of pre-order bonuses. If you pre-order the game with either a physical or digital copy, you will get the Soap Operator Pack. Even if you don't pre-order, you can access it at launch via Carry Forward.
Those who purchase a digital copy will get the Zombie Ghost Operator for MW3, Warzone, and MW2. PlayStation players who pre-order a digital copy will also get the Lockpick Operator Pack. Finally, those who've ordered the Vault Edition get the coveted Nemesis Operator Pack, Soul Harvester Tracer Weapon Blueprint, and access to BlackCell Season 01.
There could be some more digital pre-order bonuses, but for now, we're left lamenting the Skirmisher Skin's limited availability for a game that many simply don't play.
