Now that players have their feet firmly underneath the carpet in Al Mazrah, the map has quickly become quite familiar with its inhabitants.
After strenuous months of dropping in to find the perfect routes for success over and over again, Call of Duty has showcased the habits of its player base, and it makes for interesting viewing.
Whether you're eager for gunfights straight from the drop, or prefer a methodical approach to life in Al Mazrah, looting before shooting, Call of Duty has now revealed the best landing spots in Warzone 2.
Call of Duty reveals the busiest landing spots in Warzone 2
If you're that type of player who sports a CDL skin and loves to get right into the mix of the action, Call of Duty's newly released heatmap shows the hottest points that players have landed within since Warzone 2 Ranked was released.
Having shared the image on Instagram, the Call of Duty team has confirmed that most Ranked lobbies see players flock towards POIs like Observatory, Hydroelectric, Ahdar Village (north) and Al Mazrah City. The four main POIs are mainly situated within the middle and North Western points of the map.
This weirdly contradicts the complaints that players have been finding that end-circles are collapsing into water. The trek from Al Mazrah City down to Sawah Village might be enough for anyone to change their approach if the developers are pushing water-based gunfights.
Where should you land in Warzone 2 Ranked?
Getting down and dirty isn't for everyone, and while it can have SR benefits from getting many kills in these densely-populated areas, there's always the chance that you will head straight to the Gulag with no points.
So, there remain a lot of places on the map - not even just the outskirts too - which are great for looting without much bother. Ahkdar Village (South), Rohan Oil, Sa'id City, and Airport all make for viable options.
If you want to be completely unseen and play for those placement SR points, we suggest you pack your bags and head to Fortress or Quarry. The best landing spots in Al Mazrah, are preferential, but if you want to find the one that suits your playstyle the most, the heatmap has your back - or your six, I guess.
