Call of Duty's anti-cheat software Ricochet has been flamed after hackers have been re-joining the same lobbies that they were 'banned' from, moments after the 'successful' reports had been submitted.
Ricochet has often showcased just how much it can troll hackers in Call of Duty, but it seems the only fool is the software itself as hackers have been pulling the wool over its eyes.
Following the emergence of one clip, it seems like hackers are simply re-joining lobbies that after being 'banned', and players have instantly hit out at the Ricochet software for failing to do its job.

Ricochet recently rolled out a report system that would notify players when a hacker is uplifted from the game and banned, even dropping a ping to successful players who reported the corruption.

Yet in a recent video posted by "illogical", one hacker has been able to defy the ban dished to them, as they were found to rejoin the same game just moments after being slapped by the anti-cheat software.
In the video, the hacker "toiletpaper" - an adept name for s**t stain - was banned from the game after blatantly shooting players through walls, prompting the Ricochet ban notification, only to appear back in the lobby one round later and continue plaguing the enemies with wall bangs and obvious hacks.

"He ricochets the Ricochet," one fan joked on Twitter, but this was the only wry smile that fans found in this thread, as it became quite startling that the anti-cheat software could be manipulated so easily.
Players in the lobby mocked Ricochet, saying, "CoD is the only game where a banned cheater can just join back."
Others took notice that the shadowban system was actually incorrectly harming legitimate players, meanwhile, actual hackers are getting away with obvious manipulation of the game.
Ricochet will continue to work on Modern Warfare 3, although with the Beta rolling out next week, this is quite a worrying sign.
