Season 6 of Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2 has set the bar extremely high when it comes to Operator skins and crossovers. With Spawn, Alucard, Lilith, Inarius, and even an unofficial Groot skin, there's a lot of excitement when it comes to cosmetics in the next major update.
Well, Activision has gone a step further and surprised the community with a "clean" BlackCell offering in Season 6. While it does sport the typical black and gold theme, players have praised the Operator skin for being "fire" and argue it's an "instant buy."
Call of Duty fans absolutely love Season 6 BlackCell skin
Taking to Twitter on September 25, popular Call of Duty account CharlieINTEL decided to showcase the Season 6 BlackCell skin to get a grasp on players' opinions.
While there are a lot of comments that make it clear they're "bored of the Black & Gold palette," most agree the cosmetic is "fire."
"It’s a nice skin, better compared to most of the ones that we’ve had," said one user, with another claiming "That’s such a sick skin."
The biggest point of praise is how "clean" the latest BlackCell Operator looks, with the futuristic design even coming alongside a robotic dog companion. Harkening back to the days of Advanced and Infinite Warfare, this is the perfect skin for fans of those games.
How much does CoD Season 6 BlackCell cost?
If you're considering purchasing BlackCell in Season 6 of MW2 and Warzone 2, it'll cost you $29.99 as the offering cannot be bought with CoD points.
According to Activision, the package has "a value of over 7,000 CoD points," but the primary reward is definitely the Operator skin. If you're a fan of V4L3RIA and her robotic dog, this could be the season to pick up BlackCell and the rest of the rewards.
