"Try before you buy" has always been glossed over when it comes to Call of Duty bundles, with no way of ever knowing whether the skin you fancy nabbing from the store is actually cool in-game, or whether it has just been marketed well.

But this motto appears to finally be on the way to the series, as a UI overhaul to the CoD Store has been leaked. With this, it appears that previews and wishlists are coming, as the long-time-yearned-for features have been showcased by dataminers.

Previews leaked for Call of Duty store return

Back in Modern Warfare 2, players could actually take their CoD Store items to the firing range to try out before making a purchase. It was only for a limited time. as the feature was quickly stripped away as Modern Warfare 3 came out.

Now, leaker "Semtex" has claimed that previews will be returning, as showcased on a leaded video. This feature would allow players to head to the store, open a bundle, and take it for a test drive in the firing range.

This is a keen addition for anyone who likes to buy camos or blueprints, especially with tracer rounds or fun dismemberment kill animations.

According to the leaker, the UI is also set to have a new addition of a "wishlist", which will sort out bundles that you have favourites but can't yet purchase.

This feature will store your favourite bundles until you get paid, level up the battle pass to unlock enough CoD Points, or decide that you don't want to splash the cash anymore.

The store will also reportedly come with new categories to help you pick your desired bundles, such as "Best for Warzone" or "Top Performing", allowing you to pick meta guns over some of the flashier ones.

It's not yet known when this leaked content is planned to arrive in Modern Warfare 3 or Warzone, although it will likely be rather soon before the CoD cycle begins to look towards the next game.
