Ever since the dawn of Call of Duty multiplayer, cheaters have been a serious problem in the community, and Warzone 2 is certainly no different.
While the report system and the RICOCHET anti-cheat do their part in fighting back against third-party software, bad actors still slip through the cracks.
You'd assume all cheaters would want to stay under the radar to prevent their accounts from being banned, but that isn't always the case. Some players opt to stream their cheats on Twitch, flaunting their aimbot and wallhacks openly to viewers.
Well, one cheating streamer was doing exactly that, but after showing off and claiming they were going to "dog-walk" an opponent, they got embarrassed in front of their Twitch chat.
Cheating Warzone 2 streamer embarrassed by opponent
Popular Call of Duty Twitter account ModernWarzone shared a clip of a cheating Warzone 2 Twitch streamer on July 9.
After openly switching on their hacks in front of their viewers, the cheater decided to show off and approached a building with an enemy inside who was highlighted by their third-party software.
Claiming they were going to "dog-walk" the enemy and even asking viewers if they were "ready" for what they were about to see, the hacker attempted to land a clean headshot on the opponent.
Despite having access to wallhacks, they somehow managed to miss multiple bullets and were instantly taken down by the foe. As expected, this left the streamer a little quieter after realising they'd been outplayed live in front of their Twitch chat.
Are you allowed to stream hacks on Twitch?
According to Twitch's Community Guidelines, "Any activity, such as cheating, hacking, botting, or tampering, that gives the account owner an unfair advantage in an online multiplayer game, is prohibited."
However, with so many streamers live at the same time, it's not uncommon for hackers on Twitch to go unnoticed and avoid a ban. Let's hope Twitch clamps down on Warzone 2 cheaters more in the future, but for the time being, at least this particular hacker won't be too much trouble for legit players to deal with.
