Call of Duty's solution to ongoing progression is the Battle Pass, with the reward track refreshing in MW2 and Warzone with each new season.

While journeying through the tiers provides plenty of cosmetics, you'd imagine the final skin in the reward track is what players are always hunting for.

Well, that hasn't been the case over the last few seasons, with fans slamming the ultimate cosmetics in the Battle Pass as underwhelming and boring.

Fortunately, the tables have turned in Season 6, with the community heralding the Battle Pass for having the "best Tier 100 skin of all time."

Call of Duty players love Tier 100 Season 6 Battle Pass skin

As showcased by the popular Call of Duty account CharlieINTEL, reaching Tier 100 of the Season 6 Battle Pass will reward you with a Spawn skin.

Typically, big-hitter cosmetics in the Battle Pass fall short of CoD fans' expectations, often being labelled as lazy and disappointing. However, Season 6 has left the community shocked, with fans praising the Spawn skin as "awesome."

"Might be the best tier 100 skin of the year," said CoD YouTuber WhosImmortal, with another fan claiming it's "Easily the best T100 Battle Pass skin to date, very rare CoD W."

You can tell there's a lot of excitement around this Battle Pass, with Activision seemingly listening to criticism from the community. Despite this, it's possible this is just a sweetener with MW2 coming to the end of its life cycle, but we'll just have to wait and see.

CoD fans can't believe crossover skin is included in Battle Pass

Call of Duty Spawn

One of the most shocking aspects of the Season 6 Battle Pass is the fact that Activision has chosen to include a crossover skin in the reward track with Spawn.

These have always been store bundles in the past, meaning this could be a sign that more collab cosmetics will be added to Battle Passes in the future.

"Wait… spawn isn’t a bundle skin?!?!? Has hell frozen over," joked one user, with another claiming that they're "actually surprised they put him in the battle pass tbh, thought they'd make him the 8273rd Halloween bundle."

Let's hope Spawn's appearance in the Battle Pass is a sign of better progression rewards in the future and not Activision boosting CoD fans' hopes ahead of MW3.
