Revenge is a dish best served... in the greasy tray of a McDonald's Big Mac? In one of the wildest comeback arcs that esports might have ever seen, a Call of Duty Mobile professional was dropped from a team just before a championship and ended up getting his revenge while using maccies WiFi.

Call of Duty professional "ItzMago" has now shared his story, showing himself competing from within McDonald's, beating his former teammates.

CoD Mobile player ItzMago dedicated a large portion of his life to prepare for life as a professional player, leaving his job and travelling to Oklahoma to join ARP Gaming and play out of a team house alongside his teammates.

However, just before the Regional Qualifiers of CoD Mobile Champs, the player was let go from the team who signed up without him, leaving him evicted and teamless.

Luckily enough, he was able to land a spot on another team just as the lock-in period graced ended. But one problem persisted, he was staying in a motel and had a rubbish WiFi connection to compete.

Well, after being pooled into a fixture against his old team, ItzMago decided to head to McDonald's, which had marginally better WiFi, and contributed to beating his old organisation.

Speaking in an interview with Jake Lucky, ItzMago explained, "I go to McDonald's because it had a little bit better WiFi and started playing there for a bit. And then we beat the team that dropped me."

"I say this is so crazy, this is history," he said. The player even ate and dined at McDonald's while throwing out call-outs to his teammates mid-match.

ItzMago and his former team ARP was once the best team in North America, winning the Season 1 West Finals in 2021, although there won't be any more honeymoon stories for them together, just the sour tastes of McChicken Deluxe's.
