Call of Duty players have revealed which original and classic weapons from the past they would add to Modern Warfare 2.

Throughout the Call of Duty franchise, there have been countless weapons for players to customise and add to their loadouts.
While a lot of the underwhelming guns are quickly forgotten by the community when the next title arrives, some are remembered and cherished by fans.
Whether it's the Intervention from the orignal Modern Warfare 2, the Grau from MW2019, or the G36c from Call of Duty 4, it's safe to say certain weapons hold a place in the heart of Call of Duty players.
Well, CoD fans have come together to reveal which OG and classic guns they wish Infinity Ward would add to MW2

Taking to the CODWarzone subreddit, user yo----1 decided to ask the CoD community which weapon they would like to see added in MW2.
This sparked a mass response from fans, listing guns ranging across every Call of Duty title. However, the most upvotes went to the G36c that first appeared in CoD4, otherwise known as the original Modern Warfare.
Following this, the FAMAS burst rifle came in a close second, which is no surprise given how popular the burst AR has been over the years. The Kar98k and Grau got a mention from MW2019, as well as the iconic FAL that was known for its deadly TTK back in the old days.
A Black Ops weapon also got a shoutout in the Galil, that players claim would be a 'monster' if it was added to the current MW2.
Will Infinity Ward bring back any OG guns in MW2?
Adding OG weapons to MW2 would be a great way to get fans excited for an update and shake up the meta that's currently being dominated by the TAQ-56 and Vaznev-9k.
However, with Call of Duty 2023 or Modern Warfare 3 reportedly coming in November, it seems unlikely that the devs would allocate the time to add classic guns to MW2. We'll just have to hope that the upcoming CoD title comes with some famous and familiar weapons from the past.
