We're ready to get down with the sickness all over again, as the second Resident Evil DLC has shuffled its way into Behaviour Interactive's Dead by Daylight. The asymmetric horror isn't content with adding Leon S. Kennedy, Jill Valentine, and the Tyrant to this nightmarish world.
Although some are sure to question whether we need another Resident Evil crossover just a year after we first opened the Hive in Dead by Daylight, the release of "Project W," has us crawling back. Alongside the big cheese of Albert Wesker (as well as heroes Ada Wong and Rebecca Chambers), DbD has added some surprise guests that Resi-heads might've heard of.
Who Is Included In The Resident Evil X Dead By Daylight Crossover?
The full list of Resident Evil cosmetics is below, but namely, the big surprise is that the existing Leon and Jill Survivors have been given Carlos Oliveira and Sheva Alomar overhauls. For those unfamiliar, Carlos was a major player in 1999's Resident Evil 3: Nemesis, while Sheva played second fiddle to Chris Redfield and THAT iconic boulder punch in 2009's Resident Evil 5.
Neither Carlos nor Sheva are upper-tier staples like Jill, Chris and Claire Redfield, Leon, or Ada, but still, they have their fans. Interestingly, neither of them has been seen since their respective games. Given the fact they're alive, there's every chance Capcom could bring them back for the upcoming Resident Evil 9.
In general, there are plenty of cosmetics for fans to enjoy in this satisfying crossover. Namely, The Legion killer gets a Hunk revamp, Feng Ming can cosplay as Jull, and Ada can go full espionage. The Carlos and Sheva skins are Legendaries, so you're going to have to stump up even more money to dress as them. The full list is below:
- Leon S. Kennedy – Carlos Oliveira
- Jill Valentine – Sheva Alomar
- Albert Wesker (The Mastermind) – Albert Wesker (S.T.A.R.S.)
- Ada Wong – Undercover Espionage
- Rebecca Chambers – Cowgirl Outfit
- Leon Kennedy – Detective Noir
- Jill Valentine – S.T.A.R.S. Uniform
- The Legion – Hunk
- Feng Min – Jill Cosplay
- Felix Richter – S.T.A.R.S. Uniform
How Can You Get Carlos And Sheva In Dead By Daylight?
Both Carlos and Sheva cost 1,485 Auric Cells each, so if you want the pair it'll cost a hefty 2,970 Auric Cells. If you go down the cheapest route of buying them, it'll set you back £23.98. As for The Legion getting to dress as a Hunk, you might remember the Silent Hill crossover did the same with Konami's horrifying Robbie the Rabbit.
Be warned, if you want to be Carlos and Sheva, you'll also need the OG Resident Evil DLC. There are some great discounts out right now, with Steam offering a 45% discount if you get both packs together. There's a lot to be said for Dead by Daylight's original creations, but let's be honest, the main reason we head back to it is for the pop culture crossovers with everything from Resident Evil to The Ring, Hellraiser to Stranger Things. Roll on the inevitable one with Lady Dimitrescu.
