The details surrounding Herschel "Dr Disrespect" Beahm's abrupt departure, partnership termination, and permanent ban from Twitch have never been publicised, and he's continued to take his Champions Club community over to YouTube.

Allegations were made against the content creator, claiming that he was banned from the platform for trying to meet up with a minor at a TwitchCon event - reportedly using Twitch Whispers to communicate.

Dr Disrespect has now taken to X (formerly Twitter) to tell "my side of the story," and said that while he did exchange messages with a minor back in 2017, there were no "real intentions behind these messages." Beahm said he'll "absolutely take responsibility" from a moral standpoint and admitted, "I should have never entertained these conversations to begin with."

Before Dr Disrespect had posted the lengthy message, his Midnight Society studio that he co-founded had already parted ways with him. Midnight Society released a statement regarding the allegations, revealing that is was "terminating our relationship with Guy Beahm immediately."

Prior to the latest developments, this had a drastic impact on Deadrop's Founders Edition prices.

Midnight Society terminates relationship with Dr Disrespect

With Deadrop having been in development for two years, the studio has split with its co-founder, claiming that it assumed his innocence but had recently been informed of new information that led to his dismissal.

"We assumed his innocence and began speaking with parties involved. And in order to maintain our principles and standards as a studio and individuals, we needed to act," Midnight Society said.

"For this reason, we are terminating our relationship with Guy Beahm immediately. While these facts are difficult to hear and even more difficult to accept, it is our duty to act with dignity on behalf of all individuals involved."

Deadrop Founder Pass plummets amid Dr Disrespect termination

Originally, the Founders Passes were just $50 to own and served as an NFT where the 10,000 passes would fluctuate in price.

Just last month, players reported that their $50 NFTs were reaching between $300 and $500 in value, but this has quickly fallen off, with some passes now being valued at less than $100.

On OpenSea, the minimum value of a pass is $103, although players are bidding around the $70 mark, which would see a 500% drop from this time last week.

Even some of the rarer Founders Pass NFTs are plummeting. Number 97 has dropped from over $10,000 to $6,700 (currently) in the space of 28 days.

Still, the passes haven't quite dropped back to their original selling price, but it's not a good time for the studio that (much like Rogue Company was) was reliant on Dr Disrespect's profile.
