One of the worst metas in Warzone history may be rearing its head and returning to the battle royale, as DMR-zone appears to be back.

The single-fire weapon had one full season of dominance back in the Verdansk days and was by far the most infuriating gun to ever be popularised, simply deleting players in a matter of two or three bullets.

Now, the MTZ Interceptor is taking over Urzikstan one tap at a time, and fans are freaking out.

The MTZ Interceptor is reigniting DMR-Zone

Thanks to the content creators "NicoInfinite" and "FaZe Nio", the MTZ Interceptor has rocketed to the top of the popularity charts in Warzone, given that the weapon is decimating enemies in two or three bullets.

The Modern Warfare 3 Battle Rifle was showcased by Nico on Twitter, where it showed both players killing nine enemies in a minute, including one two-bullet elimination on an enemy falling from the sky via a Jailbreak.

"This gun is a problem," Nico said on Twitter.

Aim assist haters are rallying against the MTZ Interceptor in Warzone

Given the incredible clip, which has now surged over 1.8 million views, fans have lost it at how powerful this gun is combined with a cranked Aim Assist system.

"I'm giving up on the fight. COD belongs to controller players," said one fan in a popular quote Tweet. "I’ll stick with multi[player], because if I die to AA, at least I can instantly respawn instead of; queue, load, pre-game, load, land, get guns, roller Randy *has a thumb*, repeat."

Another added, "Idk how people can watch these AA players, so cringe, it's like watching an aimbotter. I'd rather give views to people to work for their clips. This is just garbage."

Even Nio himself laughed it off, saying, "They really do need to nerf aim assist."

Players did report that Aim Assist was heavily nerfed before Modern Warfare 3, but its clear that didn't translate to Warzone, at least not for single-fire weapons.
