Although he dresses up quite like Santa - a grown-ass man in a bright red suit and a curly wig - Herschel "Dr Disrespect" Beahm isn't feeling as jolly as Father Christmas this year, as Call of Duty is stomping all over his holiday spirit.

As part of the recent Santa's Slayground event in Warzone and Modern Warfare 3, players can now get into the festive groove with a few casual snowball fights.

But while it appears to be some harmless fun, Dr Disrespect certainly isn't enjoying it, as a surprise snowball attack in the Gulag has left the cosplaying streamer absolutely stunned.

Dr Disrespect left stunned after bizarre snowball attack in Warzone

In a recent stream with Dennis "Cloakzy" Lepore and the returning Tim "TimTheTatman" Betar, who is back for the first time in six months, Doc was sent packing to the 1v1 prison-based hell-in-a-cell gunfight, but what happened next was a hilarious troll.

Players in the Gulag have five seconds on a pre-match timer to focus up and plan their routes, gauging whether to slide on to the headglitch, collect some cash or additional equipment, or trust the gunny and go gung-ho at their opposition.

But as the clock ticked down from five to one, Doc was smashed to pieces by a spectator launching snowballs, and after four blows (all before he could move), Doc was killed and forced to wait for redeployment.

Previously, players could throw rocks, but they would only deal one damage point, whereas these snowballs deal around 50hp.

The clip is perfected as Doc began ducking and diving in real life as if the snowballs were coming through the windows of his facility, before scanning the room in silence, stunned at what had just happened.

Snowballs have been removed from the Warzone Gulag

Normally, the developers often take off at this time of the year for the annual Christmas break, leaving any exploits and bugs to be dealt with in the new year.

However, Raven Software has popped the lights back on in its office and addressed this issue rather promptly, silently disabling snowballs in the Gulag.

The snowballs will still be able to be launched at your enemies any time else in the battle royale, so don't be shy of hurtling ice around in Popov Power, you'll just need another pastime in the Gulag - or just don't die, easy...
