The Doc isn't happy about the one-shot sniper malarkey in Warzone 2, as the famed content creator says the devs lied to fans.

Back in the days of Verdansk (we mean in the very early days of Verdansk) Herschel "Dr Disrespect" Beahm was quite the marksman.

The two-time streamer of the year was prolific with the HDR in hand and found success with the one-shot cherry-picking sniper when the meta allowed for it.

But in Warzone 2, Doc has not been enjoying his time with a long-range rifle. Now, he believes the developers have lied to the community about their promises of a one-shot sniper meta returning.

Dr Disprespect thinks Activision 'bulls**tted' with one-shot Warzone 2 snipers

The lethal snipers returned to the fold in Season 3, albeit with an explosive snag, but a normal sniper can't yet get enough damage to headshot an enemy straight to the Gulag.

Instead, you need explosive rounds equipped in the Ammunition department, on your one-shot FJX Imperium loadout, and Doc feels like this is some kind of con.

"I don’t want to f*****g go into my sniper and fine-tune all these different attachments," he said. "They're bulls**tting us, they're lying to us. They're bulls**tting us on the clarification of one-shot snipers."

TimTheTatman claims Warzone 2 needs real one-shot snipers

While Doc refused to equip the explosive rounds, TimTheTatman had, and still believes that this isn't enough for Warzone 2. He says all snipers should have one-shot capabilities.

"I'm confused at where video games went wrong, in the sense of people complaining about being one-shot by a sniper. When did that start? For as long as I can remember, snipers have been able to one-shot," he said to Dr Disrespect.

The developers have been combatting the border as to where sniping can fit into the meta, given that the original Warzone was overrun with Kar98K's, and the sequel has only just introduced this half-way house for the heaviest snipers to down a full-health enemy.

Hopefully, heavy snipers might be able to facilitate one-shot rounds in the coming months, but for now, Doc and Tim might have to bite the bullet and hope it doesn't explode.
