Fortnite Chapter 3 has been a big change for the game, but so far, it has worked in the title's favour. It's all thanks to the brand-new map, fresh battle pass and the arrival of the man, the myth, The Rock.
It's easy to argue that Fortnite has never been in a better position, and it's never been easier to jump on the hype train that shows no sign of slowing down. It seems some streamers are considering it - as Dr Disrespect is thinking of jumping ship in favour of jumping from the Battle Bus.
Will Dr Disrespect Start Playing Fortnite?
Herschel "Dr Disrespect" Beahm IV has stated on stream that he's considering converting to Fortnite going forward - thanks to the new content that has arrived in the new chapter.
After his frustrations with the games he plays regularly, he admitted he's fascinated by Fortnite, much to the dismay of his chat.
"I was thinking of checking out Fortnite tomorrow", he says. "I know. Stop laughing, guys! No, no, no, guys. Champs. Come back!" His fans naturally put up some resistance, but he seems serious about getting involved in the new season.
"There's also part of me that wants to play the new map solo experience, man. Get a couple solo wins on the new map? I'm actually very curious to see how this game plays, solo-wise." It seems like he's run out of things to complain about in Warzone already, and he's willing to make the jump.
But, it might not be wise given that Dr Disrespect is looking to compete with Fortnite with his own game.
What Happened To Dr Disrespect's Battle Royale?
Dr Disrespect may still be working on his battle royale title that he intends to compete with the biggest the genre has to offer.
We haven't heard anything of it since he revealed a first look at some concept art, proving that it would have a focus on verticality, so maybe we'll get to hear some more soon if he's willing to take the biggest battle royale for a spin.
We'll have to wait and see to find out if Dr Disrespect is serious about deferring to The Island - but chances are, he'll find a way to moan about the game either way.
