Rostermania is in full swing in the Call of Duty League, as many of the household organisations fell short of expectations in the pinnacle of the 2022-23 season, where the New York Subliners were crowned as champions.

The likes of Atlanta FaZe, OpTic Texas, Los Angeles Thieves, and Toronto Ultra have long been teams that have dominated the podium finishes, but after Subliners took home gold, a huge roster shake-up began.

Some of the dominoes are starting to fall, and it seems like one of the most sought-after players has snubbed a place on OpTic to join FaZe.

OpTic and FaZe fight over Drazah's signature

Zack "Drazah" Jordan is emerging as one of Call of Duty esports most exceptional talents and most eccentric personalities - even if it has transformed into a villain arc.

So with LA Thieves' entire team now out of contract, Drazah has become a must-have player for the teams hoping to achieve greatness again. OpTic Texas and Atlanta FaZe are both targeting the player as the final piece to their puzzle. This is according to reports from Dexerto's Jacob Hale.

Both OpTic (who are looking to fill their flex role position after releasing Dan "Ghosty" Rothe) and FaZe (who will likely promote McArthur "Cellium" Jovel to main AR and allow Drazah to flex after releasing Austin "SlasheR" Liddicoat) have offered him contracts.

Drazah reportedly opts to sign for Atlanta FaZe

This comes despite both sets of fan bases being rather hostile towards Drazah in the past. With Drazah likely being the first marquee signing to be made before the rest of the teams fall into place, Hale has also reported that Drazah has now snubbed OpTic in favour of FaZe.

This comes shortly after OpTic also decided not to pursue bringing back Dylan "Envoy" Hannon, Drazah's ex-teammate, despite heavy rumours of a reunion. Envoy is now set to join Toronto Ultra instead.

Thankfully, if you're an OpTic fan, it seems like Australian superstar Amer "Pred" Zulbeari is nailed on to finally join - which will strengthen their roster just as FaZe for an absolutely dynamite super squad.

As for the flex roles left for the rest of the league, Ghosty and Daunte "Sib" Gray are the next-best option and will likely be met with a wealth of offers.
