FC 24 got caught offside in the first minute and then kicked the ball away for a yellow card, as millions of refereeing players around the world blew foul at the lack of bonuses at the start of the Ultimate Team year.

When it was under the flagship of FIFA, the fantasy mode would reward players for years of continuous play, gifting returning players packs for their year-on-year purchase of the series titles. But after a one-year hiatus as the rebrand to EA FC came into play, these rewards are back.

EA FC brings back fan-requested loyalty rewards

In a new blog post which detailed that the Web App will be launching on September 19 and an overhaul to the Companion App is coming a day later to gear up for FC 25's full release, Product Manager at EA SPORTS FC Gordon Farquhar revealed that loyal players will be getting their justice.

"Players who are re-joining us from Football Ultimate Team 24 will also get a little something extra with returning user rewards, which I’m pleased to announce are back for Football Ultimate Team 25," Farquhar said. As to what rewards these will be, well, that hasn't been revealed yet.

These rewards usually come in the form of packs, giving you a bit of a headstart in terms of getting the opening SBCs out of the way and starting your squad building with slightly better gold players.

They won't be the only cards that players will get for their FC 24 quest though, as those who played right up until the end could have finished objectives to get more rewards.

The Pre-Season Objective rewards in FC 24, and the Euro 2024 Journey rewards, will be gifted to players on October 10.

With the Web App launching in a matter of days, and the full release of FC 25 following just days after, the rewards are already starting to rack up in your favour, and a new year of Ultimate Team is about to make quite an explosive start.
