EA FC 24 always stays in tune with actual football, with the Team of the Week player in Ultimate Team replicating the real-life performances of the professionals.
Most of the time, those who are banging in hat-tricks for fun, pearling in free-kicks, or even just going through a purple patch as a midfield maestro, will be given TOTW upgrades, and this year, EA FC 24 has opted to make each and every card Gold.
But that doesn't mean the Gold TOTW players are good, as one striker is being branded a "donkey", or should we say a wonkey...
EA FC 24 roll out a 1-star week foot TOTW player
This week in the TOTW, Kevin Denkey has earned himself a spot in the esteemed line-up for bagging three goals in the Belgian 1A Pro League, helping Cercle Brugge to a much-needed win.
However, his 80-rated in-form card is far from polished, as the Togan striker only has a one-star week foot.
It's understandable that sometimes, as a right-footed striker, the left leg is just for standing on, but this is actually the first time in the franchise when an Ultimate Team special has such a low capability in their weak foot.
In EA FC 24 especially, this isn't a stat you want to be left with, and it's no surprise that after 24 hours of being in packs, Denkey is now down to the discard price value of 10k on the store, despite having a good combination of pace, shooting, dribbling, and physicality all over 80.

What do you call a Denkey with only one foot? A Donkey. What do you call a Donkey without a left foot? A Wonkey.
The name "Donkey" has been lashed up and down the reply section to Denkey's arrival in the TOTW, and the mockery hasn't stopped there.
"It's amusing to see that he has a Technical PlayStyle, which is strange for a player with only one foot," said one fan.
Another added, "bro is worse than my pro clubs character."
Others even took aim at his AcceleRATE marking, with one adding, "His weak foot ain't gonna be 'controlled' for sure."
Denkey might be one of the worst pulls ever in the TOTW, and that's coming from a week where we've got Olivier Giroud - one of France's all-time goalscorers - in the net...
