We’re just under two weeks into life on EA FC 24 and already there appears to be quite a drop-off in retention.

Although Clubs has reignited a passion for players to get together, Ultimate Team appears to be squandered, and fans have now figured out why.

Aside from some rather unfeasible SBCs, fans have claimed that the lack of post-launch content is driving them away already.

EA FC 24 fans left furious over lack of post-launch content

The start of the Ultimate Team year is always a grind, there’s no denying that, and coming up with bigger and better players is quite the graft, especially with no content to go off.

Two weeks in and fans have called out EA for not releasing the usual batch of content such as UCL Marquee Matchups, Silver Stars objectives, or even standard daily SBCs.

"The content so far has been an absolute joke for the first official full week of the game," one angered fan said on Reddit.

EA FC 24 fans call for more daily content

Some fans argued that Ultimate Team is feeling the effects of the drop in sales for EA FC 24 too, as the transfer market is down on its usual activity on top of the lack of day-to-day content.

But most gripes have come in the form of having bog-standard objectives to complete, forcing players to simply run around kicking balls.

Most fans at least want something such as Silver Stars.

"Really regretting making a silver team in preparation for silver stars. Wasted my coins and time," one fan said.

Others said that even if EA decided to leave out some content to allow players to get down and dirty in Rivals instead, then players should be rewarded for doing so.

"Should have revamped rival rewards to make it so there was a reason to play past 7 wins," another fan said. "I’m not a huge fan of inception but this is one of the things he gets completely correct. If someone wants to grind rivals all day, they should be rewarded for doing so."

The starter SBCs also make grinding too easy, according to other fans, with the Puzzles section not having to rely on loyalty chemistry anymore, meaning you won't be jumping into matches with random bronzes to get some SBC rewards.

Hopefully, it won't be long before the next promo arrives and with it comes some more ways to play.
