EA Sports FC's launch is nearly here, and fans are counting down the days until the game's official release on September 29.

In the lead-up, EA has been keeping players excited with various announcements, including unveiling Carlos Tevez as an FC 24 Hero.

Following this news, EA decided to make an eye-catching statement in Manchester City Centre to celebrate the Argentinian football icon. Next to Piccadilly Station, EA has recreated the iconic "Welcome To Manchester" billboard, and it looks incredible.

EA Sports FC 24 celebrates Carlos Tevez with huge billboard

EA Sports FC have paid homage to Carlos Tevez outside Manchester Piccadilly Station, putting up a giant billboard to celebrate the talented player.

Taking inspiration from the iconic "Welcome To Manchester" billboard that marked Tevez's move from Manchester United to Manchester City back in 2009, the new one looks similar, but instead, celebrates Tevez's recognition as an FC 24 Hero.

Scoring 232 goals in his star-studded career and taking home some of the biggest trophies in football, it's safe to say, Tevez is deserving of his hero status.

What are the stats on Tevez's Hero Card in EA Sports FC?

Tevez FIFA

In terms of the stats on Tevez's FC 24 Hero card, they're very impressive, especially if you're looking for a physical striker who is going to be a consistent threat.

Here's a full breakdown of his stats in FC 24:

  • PAC: 88
  • SHO: 91
  • PAS: 83
  • DRI: 89
  • DEF: 48
  • PHY: 91

So, if you want a chance of getting your hands on Tevez's Hero Card, then you'll need to pre-order EA Sports FC 24 by August 22, as you'll be awarded a random Ultimate Team Hero at release.

Either way, the billboard is a brilliant way to celebrate such an iconic player, and if you're stopping by in Manchester, consider checking it out.
