You'd think that EA Sports FC 24 would be working overtime to sell itself as a FIFA replacement, but it's already pulling pre-order bonuses from players.

EA has a lot of work to do in order to make EA Sports FC 24 feel like a sell. It's tough to tell right now if the game can recoup popularity from its days as FIFA, and with such huge changes incoming, the harshest critics claim it's a new title to many.
At least EA Sports FC 24 feels like a new game from the outside. In typical FIFA fashion, we can probably expect the core gameplay to be very similar. EA's sell is about to get a little weaker, as EA Sports FC 24 is already pulling a major pre-order bonus.
One of EA Sports FC's pre-order bonuses is about to expire
Well, that was quick. It turns out that one of EA Sports FC 24's Ultimate Edition pre-order bonuses were only available for a limited time, and that limited time is about to run its course.
If you'd pre-ordered EA Sports FC 24, one of the extras is an untradeable UCL or UWCL Hero in Ultimate Team. The terms and conditions of this order have pulled a fast one on many fans, as the deal expires today (August 22). That means that unless you're willing to pre-order the game before midnight, you're simply not going to get it.
The untradeable UCL or UWCL Hero in Ultimate Team pre-order expired at 9 pm PST on August 22, which is the same as midnight EST and 5 am BST on August 23 for PC players. If you're playing on Xbox or PS5, it expires at 23:59 local time.
It's a frustrating factor in pre-ordering the game, especially as one of its bonuses has come long before the launch of the title without much indication from EA about its expiration.
What else is in EA Sports FC's Ultimate Edition?
Even if this one item is on its way out from the series, there's still plenty to bag in the Ultimate Edition of EA Sports FC 24 if you wanted to dedicate yourself to it.

There's still plenty to bag, even if it's a monumental bummer that there's no chance to get that untradeable player. Act quickly or regret it forever. Maybe a bit dramatic, but you get it.
