An EA Sports FC 24 leak has revealed Messi and Ronaldo's ratings, but both superstar footballers appear to have been hit with a downgrade.

While finding out the EA Sports FC 24 ratings for every player is always exciting, there are two in particular that garner a lot more attention than the rest.
We're obviously talking about Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo, undoubtedly two of the greatest footballers of the last decade.
However, with both in the twilight of their football careers, EA Sports FC 24 fans are desperate to know their ratings for the new title.
Well, although EA has remained tight-lipped so far, leakers seem to have uncovered the information and it involves downgrades from FIFA 23 for both senior pros.
EA Sports FC 24 Messi & Ronaldo ratings leaked
According to reliable EA Sports FC leaker Fut_Scoreboard, Messi and Ronaldo will both be receiving rating downgrades from FIFA 23.
Messi will only lose 1 rating, dropping down to 90 OVR despite making a move to the MLS to play for Inter Miami.
In comparison, Ronaldo has been hit with a far more significant downgrade, moving down 86 from his previous 90 OVR in FIFA 23.
Remember, these are only leaks and not official ratings from EA, so they should be taken with a pinch of salt for now.
EA Sports FC 24 fans divided over low Ronaldo rating
As always, ratings are divisive and some CR7 fans are not happy with EA's verdict when it comes to Rondaldo’s stats.
"Absolutely embarrassing from EA to disrespect one of the Greatest to ever play the Game, Ronaldo should have been 88," said one frustrated user, with another arguing "RONALDO should be at least 88 if Messi he's 90 they did Ronaldo dirty."
Although only time will tell whether these ratings are correct, they're already causing a huge debate among football fans. It'll be interesting to see whether Ronaldo and Messi are strong cards at release, or whether other upcoming players rise above them.
