EA Sports FC 24 has been taking great steps towards better and more all-inclusive representation. Its predecessor, FIFA 23, has recently added its first hijab for an in-game player for Nouhaila Benzina, and it looks as though EA Sports FC 24 will keep this up for the future.

Although football has sometimes struggled with the image of it being for everyone, it's a nice touch that EA Sports FC is trying to ensure everyone has a place. Now, the series looks to take things even further by including players with limb differences.

EA Sports FC will include players with limb differences

In a first for the football series, EA Sports FC 24 is set to add representation for those with limb differences. This comes with the reveal that US player Carson Pickett, who was born without a left forearm and hand, will be added to the game.

Pickett's player model shows her limb difference, with it being praised across social media. The defender for Racing Louisville FC will appear in the game for the first time after she became the first player with a limb difference to represent the US Women's soccer team in 2022.

Pickett is the first player with a limb difference to appear in the EA Sports title, which is not only massive generally speaking, it's also a great addition from EA Sports FC. As inclusivity remains at the core of football where it belongs, EA Sports is being praised for reflecting this.

EA Sports FC is going hard on inclusion

It seems that there's still plenty of fervour around EA Sports FC 24's addition of women to the game's Ultimate Team mode, but the title's team has remained dedicated to the "dream club" idea, and is keeping female players amongst the male ones in the mode.

It's rubbed some gamers up the wrong way, but they can simply get on and ignore it. No one is forcing you to play as women. Then again, with England's Lionesses out-performing their male counterparts year after year, it's safe to say British fans are running out of room to argue with their capabilities.
