Elden Ring is pretty violent from the outset, so it only makes sense that players are meeting it with hostility.

That's the leading draw of FromSoftware games at this point - entering a world where everything wants to kill you and will do so with ease, with the main goal being to climb levels until you can demolish everything around you, including the punishing bosses. The games are brutal, and fans love it that way.

But, the communities have always loved a pacifist run. The fact that players can make it through the savage game without harming a single hair on a foe's head is much more impressive than doing so with sheer rage and violence. And finally, someone has managed the feat in Elden Ring.

Elden Ring Player Pulls Off First-Ever Pacifist Run

The world's first pacifist run of Elden Ring has finally been accomplished, joining the list of games that can officially be beaten without attacking any foes at all.

YouTuber Iron Pineapple is the first ever to make the feat a reality, sharing their progress in a raucous half-an-hour long video on his channel.

The run was made possible by a bending of the rules - he summons spirits to do the fighting on his behalf, and uses a lot of healing spells to keep buffing them into oblivion so they're tough enough to manage the game's enemies.

It's an incredible feat that needs to be seen to be believed - and fans are loving it.

Fans have taken to the comments to share their support of the run itself, and they're in awe that the run itself was possible.

"Damn, this looked like a super fun run," says one comment. "Usually these challenge runs are in the 'why would they do this to themself?' category but here it looked like a lot of interesting problem solving and learning."

"I learned a lot watching this. I never realized, for example, that I could heal my summons," says another. "Good stuff."

It's an impressive feat for sure, and will no doubt be starting a thread of players attempting to beat the record. If you want to give it a go, do it soon - you could even be the new world champion of the Elden Ring pacifist run.
