Despite his reputation for creating one of the most devastating weapons of all time, Dr J. Robert Oppenheimer’s story is right in the limelight, nearly 80 years later.

Thanks to Christopher Nolan’s new re-telling of the Wartime story, and Cillian Murphy’s stone-cold smoulders, Oppenheimer is taking over Hollywood alongside the completely perpendicular Barbie.

So, with Murphy’s blinding acting sprucing up the character, fans are loving it and now VALORANT players are creating skins based on the physicist.

VALORANT Oppenheimer Skin is incredible

Given that Murphy's rendition of Oppenheimer has somewhat romanticised what is a rather sinister subject, cinema fans across the world have been won over by his jawline and cheekbones, creating a heartthrob from a monster.

And combined with his clear prowess in pyrotechnics - to say the least - VALORANT fans have now decided that an Oppenheimer crossover would be rather fit for the game, and have now created a skin based on the devastating physician to coincide with Chamber.

VALORANT content creator, and designer of many collab skins, "Vegod" has now shown off his latest creation, taking Chamber and placing him in a typical black and white suit of Oppenheimer for a reskin, and has finished off the fan-made collaboration with a Ghost and Vandal weapon design featuring nuclear power, rather than radianite.

VALORANT fans blown away by fan-made Oppenheimer collaboration

Some of the finer details of the skins are where this collaboration really thrives: Chamber's donning of the trademark Oppenheimer hat and the atomic bomb-shaped bullets that are used in the weapons are just two of these little gems that have fans wooing.

"Skins look amazing, editing is fantastic, beautifully done," "This is fire," and "f**king hell this is insane," are just a few of the applauds that Vegod was given on Twitter.

It's not the first crossover that we've seen Vegod do, as he's previously created Star Wars-themed skins. Who knows, maybe a Barbie design might be next, and Riot could be tempted to pull out a Barbenheimer collab for themselves.
