FC 25 players are already ‘fed up’ with huge Division Rivals grind

Only the true grafters will succeed this year.

FC 25 Fed Up

FC 25 has only been out for one week in its early access build, but Ultimate Edition owners have been able to put in some exclusive graft on FUT and Career Mode.

Sadly, some think Ultimate Team is proving too hard. With massive updates to the way Division Rivals and FUT Champs work in FC 25, players are already getting "fed up" with how punishing the weekly schedule is.

FC 25's Division Rivals is 'too much' for players

This year, players need to earn 45 "points" (three points per win) to get their upgraded Rivals rewards, which is seen as the best way to earn packs and coins, upgrading your team with better players.

The system doubles the amount of wins you needed from previous years of Rivals action, making it quite the extended grind. After one week of Rivals action, it seems players aren't coping.

"We are not even a week into the game and I have seen so many people say they can’t be bothered already. It’s simply too much to ask," one player said.

Another added, "If people were complaining about getting 7 wins in rivals and couldn't even be asked to do it what made you think 15 was a good idea? [EA] should put a 1st step of rewards for 7 wins and then another upgrade to the rewards for 15 wins. 15 wins in rivals every week is insane lol."

There are new ways of getting better rewards, though, and that's through Squad Battles. Instead of the online action, you can now max out 14 games (instead of 30) of Squad Battles, where your rewards will now be favoured on quality over quantity.

Maybe it's time we spread out our efforts and take it on the chin that Rivals rewards are now simply too difficult...well, unless you devote your life to it.
