In any Call of Duty meta, there are always hidden gems waiting to be discovered by the community. That's no different in Warzone 2.

The M13B and Kastov 762 may hold the AR crown when it comes to popularity, but sometimes, taking a deeper dive into the rest of the arsenal can reap massive rewards.

While you could spend hours experimenting with every assault rifle under the sun, it's often better to let an expert do the heavy lifting for you.

Luckily, Warzone 2 guru WhosImmortal has done exactly that, uncovering a forgotten AR that has one of the best TTKs in the current meta.

  • Barrel: 435mm FR435
  • Underbarrel: FTAC Ripper 56
  • Optic: AIM OP V4
  • Magazine: 60 Round Mag

Breaking down the stats, WhosImmortal decided to compare the FR Avancer's TTK with the M13C, Chimera, Tempus Razorback, Kastov-74u, and M13B.

Surprisingly, the FR Avancer actually has the fastest time-to-kill from 50 metres onwards out of all of the other ARs, despite being well-known as mid-range sniper support.

Not only that, as expected, the Avancer hold its own at close range as well. It has 742ms TTK at 20 metres, putting it in second place just behind the Chimera.

So, if you're a fan of high-damage output weapons, this is the setup for you that's built to perform at mid to long-range. Mag size may be a weakness for the Avancer, but it more than makes up for it in raw firepower.

How popular is the FR Avancer in Warzone 2?

When it comes to popularity, the FR Avancer has an underwhelming 1.2% pick rate, according to data from WZRanked.

This means the AR is criminally underrated, but luckily, that opens up an opportunity for you to take it into your matches and see what it can do.

Running Overkill and pairing this with the Lachmann Sub would be an undeniably deadly setup and one that can easily carry you to multiple victories.
