LMGs aren't ruling over the Warzone 2 meta in Season 5 Reloaded, with the M13B and Kastov 762 ARs comfortably sitting at the top of the popularity charts.
While the RAPP-H and RPK are seeing some attention, other picks in the LMG category have been tossed to the wayside and forgotten.
For WhosImmortal, this is a massive mistake from the community as one particular option is being heavily underrated. Describing the slept-on LMG as "ridiculously good" and a "laser" at long range, this is a weapon that needs to be on your loadout list.

The primary reason WhosImmortal deems the HCR-56 as "overpowered" is because of how "easy to use" the LMG is at long range.
While standard TTK charts showcase the LMG as mediocre at best, the realistic time-to-kill of the HCR-56 is actually absurd given that the majority of bullets will always hit the target.
As a result, the gun is an absolute "laser beam" and is perfect for players who struggle to control recoil from afar.
Don't fall into the classic trap of prioritising damage stats over everything else. Stability is arguably more important as it allows you to reliably secure kills and win gunfights, which is why the HCR-56 is top-tier.
